Good overall

Suitable for my sons age , he was over the moon about having this as his birthday gift from us. Did not have chance to try lunar/planetic observes yet due to weather, but daytime land observation satisfying for a childrens telescope.

Scope

My 14 year old was absolutely delighted with his christmas present. He currently has not seen much of the night sky due to cloudy weather but has still had fun watching birds.

What kind of observations do you primarily do (or are you planning to do) with your telescope?

Star gazing

Pluses
  • Collapsable
  • Rucksac for travel
Downsides
  • Slightly top heavy if not set up properly

Telescope is good, tripod disappoints

I've not yet tested the telescope much, but until now it works better than expected. The tripod is very light, however (great of course for carrying), and doesn't move smoothly. That means you can't aim the telescope well with the tripod handle. Holding the tube itself works better.

Pluses
  • Good quality for price.
  • Portable and handy.
Downsides
  • Tripod moves too stiffly.

First steps in astronomy

Very useful, inexpensive telescope, which is particularly suitable for seeing the moon. This telescope is also very easy to transport because of the backpack supplied with it. So I took it with me on family trip to the Vosges. It's nice to see the little ones (and even the adults) of the family become excited about astronomy with such a cheap and convenient telescope. It teaches you the basics for using telescopes. I also tried to see planets and to track the ISS. But this telescope is simply not strong enough for this.

Pluses
  • Can be transported conveniently with the backpack supplied.
  • User-friendliness, also for children.
  • The price.
Downsides
  • The potency. Don't expect to be able to visit a planet with this telescope.

OK Product with Average Accesories

I recently purchased this telescope. The product is definitely of better than average quality considering its aperture and focal length but the provided accessories like tripod and erect diagonal are not of good quality. The tripod is very weak and shakes in wind due to which the object seen through shakes a lot. The Knobs of the tripod are also not smooth and sturdy hence it requires a lot of efforts to point the scope at the desired object. Erect Diagonal as well as both the eyepieces are of very ordinary quality due to which object except moon is seen in spectroscopic colors. Anyhow, rings of Saturn, Four Gallilion moons of Jupiter, small disk of mars and pin point view of uranus are somehow visible from 10mm eyepiece through this scope. No eyepiece less than 7.5 mm or 3X balow lens is supported at the scope becomes useless if same is attached. For deep sky viewing or astro-photography the product is useless. If willing to purchase this scope then I 'll recommend to purchase a stable tripod and a good quality erect diagonal separately to make some good use of main scope.

What is your main use for these binoculars?

Night Sky Observation

What kind of observations do you primarily do (or are you planning to do) with your telescope?

Deep Sky Viewing

Pluses
  • Terrestrial View is better than average quality.
  • Small Disk view of Naked Eye Planets
  • Excellent for Viewing Moon
  • Portable and Cheap
Downsides
  • Planets are barely visible in an unattractive manner.
  • No Galaxy Except M31 and M33 can be seen through
  • No Messier Object except M27 or M42 can be viewed.
  • Shorter Aperture and Focal Length hence No Magnification beyond 52X is practically supported by any means.
  • Poor Quality Erect Diagonal and Eyepieces
  • Aligning the scope with the given tripod is hardest job.
