Prior to returning any items, please email the Customer Service Department to obtain authorisation and shipping instructions. A return authorisation will ensure the safe and proper handling of material and enable us to expedite a resolution. Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted. Returned items must be in original packaging, with all original boxes, packing materials, manuals, blank warranty cards, all other accessories however small and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Please ensure your name and address are included with your returns. Telescope Planet will not be liable for items lost or damaged in transit.

In the event of a your product being faulty within 7 days of reciept of the goods you are covered by our cancelation policy or you may have an exchange.

In the event of your product being faulty after 7 days but within 30 days of reciept of the goods , you have the right to return the product to us where a repair or exchange will be made only.

In the event of your product being faulty outside the 30 days after reciept of the goods and if your product is still covered under the manufacturers warranty. Your goods may be repaired or exchanged.

Where the Customer deals as a consumer as defined by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 the Customer may cancel the contract by giving written notice to Telescope Planet within 7 days of receipt of the Goods, beginning with the day after the day on which the Customer receives the Goods.

If the Customer validly cancels the contract, they must return to the Goods to Telescope Planet within 10 days of receipt, including the delivery date itself. Until they return the Goods, the Customer must retain possession of the Goods and take reasonable care of them.

Once notice of your cancellation has been received and we are in possession of the returned goods, Telescope Planet will make a refund of the contract price to your debit or credit card used to purchase the goods. This will be done within 30 days of the date of cancellation. All monies will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation date.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rates. The total cost of your order is the price of the Products ordered plus delivery charges as set out in the Delivery section of this Website. Payment can be made by any of the methods specified in the Payment section of this Website and payment will be debited and cleared from your account as set out in the Payment section of this Website. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours.

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

In order to process your online order, Telescope Planet must obtain some personal information from each customer. We use this information for order purposes only. All personal information taken from our customers is stored on a secure server and will not be sold or disclosed to any other party.

Items that are in stock will be delivered next working day. Delivery times on products that are not in stock are stated on the page of the product you wish to purchase. If your product is not delivered within the time stated, then a full refund can be given.

Telescopes are only free delivery within the UK Mainland. Telescopes delivered to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight will incur a £15 Surcharge. Standard delivery is free on all products (excluding Telescopes) delivered in the UK. Telescopes delivered outside the UK will be charged the exact cost of carriage to us.

Saturday delivery is available on request for an additional charge.

If your product is sent by Courier they will attempt delivery twice. If they are unable to deliver because you are not home, there will be a further £7.50 charge for each subsequent delivery attempt and if they are unable to deliver after 5 days because you have not contacted them to re-arange delivery after the first 2 attempts the goods will be returned to us and the return delivery costs will be charged to you
