| How do I register?

To register a new account, select 'register' which is displayed at the top/right side of the forum. Upon registration you will be required to enter your name, a valid email address, a unique username and password. You may also add a signature or upload a logo at this point if you wish to do so. Then agree to the terms and conditions and select the submit button. You will then receive a confirmation by e-mail that your account has been created and you can log in immediately.

| What is a signature? |
After you register an account you can add a signature to your profile. This is a section of text that is displayed at the end of every post that you create (a bit like a footer). You may change this signature at any time by editing your profile.

| What are smilies? |
Smilies or emotes are small graphical images that are used to represent an emotion. The user types in a certain set of characters, which are then replaced with the appropriate expression as an image. I.e., typing :) will show up as .
:) :-) = :( :-( = :o :0 :-O :-o :-0 = :D :-D = ;) ;-) = :P :p :-P :-p =

| How do I get picture next to my name? |
It is possible to add a logo or avatar to your profile. This image will be displayed next to your name whenever you place a post. You may add or change a logo by going to your profile. Select an image by using the browse button and then click on 'upload'. The size of the image must be 150x150.

| How do I retrieve a forgotten password? |
In the event of losing your password please email Telescope Planet.

| How do I edit my profile? |
You may change your profile at any time by clicking on the 'Profile' button located on the top of the home page.

| How do I create a thread? |
You can start a new thread by clicking on the 'new thread' button located in each chat section. Enter your message into the main text box and then add the thread title into the top one. When finished, select the 'create' button.

| How do I make a post? |
To reply or start a new post, click on the 'new post' button. Enter your message into the main text box and then click on the 'post' button.
