AutoStar 3 + mount: automatic and built-in control

• Operation: Select an object in the AutoStar, press "GoTo". Thereafter, the selected object will appear in your eyepiece. The hand-held computer, AutoStar III, works like professional observatories, the database contains more than 100,000 celestial objects like stars, planets, satellites, comets. With one simple operation the AutoStar controls the built-in motors, and finds these items quickly, accurately and reliably. AutoStar also gives you access to control the "Astronomers Inside multi-media" with video and audio information.

ACF Optics
Meade ACF optics has a huge advantage over conventional optics i.e., you have no Coma! Coma is an image error occurring with objects outside the "image centre". Stars will acquire a comet-like tail. Meade LightSwitch ETX-LS is available in three different versions:

• Meade LS with 6 inch (150mm aperture) WITHOUT ACF optics (so not coma-free)
• Meade LS with 6 inch (150mm aperture) WITH ACF optics (so coma-free)
• Meade LS with 8 inch (203mm aperture) WITH ACF optics (so coma-free)
