Celestron SkyScout
The Celestron SkyScout telescope is basically designed for the SkyScout Planetarium, but is a great tool even without this extension! The Celestron Skyscout Scope is made from non-magnetic materials, so you can easily mount the Celestron Skyscout planetarium on it. With other telescopes, there is the risk that the magnetic components will disturb the Skyscout. Do you already have a Skyscout planetarium or do you want to purchase it afterwards? It is very easy to mount on the Celestron SkyScout telescope.
Suitable for beginning astronomers
The Celestron SkyScout telescope is ideal for beginning astronomers; you can use the telescope separately or in combination with the Skyscout planetarium to watch beautiful images of various celestial bodies. For children, too, it is an ideal telescope to start with, and you can always surprise them later on with a Skyscout planetarium to further enrich their stargazing experiences. The telescope and tripod are very easy to set up - no tools required - and you do not need to be a rocket scientist to erect it.
Additional information
The Celestron Skyscout Scope is a refractor telescope equipped with a 90mm diameter coated lens, allowing for sharp images. The included eyepieces of 10mm and 40mm provide a magnification of 66x and 17x respectively . Also, the telescope comes with an erecting eyepiece, so images are put back upright. This way, the telescope can also act as a spotting scope (binoculars). The telescope comes with an altazimuth tripod which has strong steel legs and a convenient handle for swinging the telescope.
