Celestron CPC 925 XLT Schmidt-Cassegrain
The Celestron CPC 925 XLT telescope has a full GoTo function and is equipped with a GPS receiver. It is very easy to align and has an ergonomic design. Moreover, the telescope is easy to (dis)assemble and transport. With the Celestron CPC 925 XLT telescope it is possible to obtain detailed images of the surface of Jupiter and Mars, and even Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are within your reach!
GPS
The GPS receiver automatically downloads the time and data of satellites in orbit around the Earth, and determines your exact position anywhere on earth. You do not have to manually enter the date, time, latitude and longitude anymore.
Alignment
Once the internal GPS receiver has determined your position, it is really easy to align the telescope. The remote control lets you manually focus the CPC 925 XLT on three celestial bodies. You do not even need to know the names of celestial bodies and you can even use the moon or brightest stars for this. Once the telescope has been aligned, the remote control gives you access to any catalogue in the user-friendly database (40,000 objects).
CPC database
The database of the CPC 925 XLT contains over 40.000 celestial objects including Messier objects, the Caldwell Catalog, NGC systems, nebulae and planets. A special identification feature tells you where to look, but you can also take a tour through the sky. Just point the telescope somewhere, let it identify the Messier objects and the Meade CPC 925 XLT will automatically show the five nearest objects; that is GoTo at its best!
