Celestron CGEM 925 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope
The catadioptric Celestron CGEM 925 telescope plus equatorial mount has been ergonomically designed and has a fresh, bold and attractive appearance. The mount is suitable for astrophotography as well as for "normal" observations. The Celestron CGEM 925 comes with NexRemote software for the telescope which is to be used in combination with your PC. Moreover, this Celestron telescope is easy to (dis)assemble and transport.
CGEM database
The database of the CGEM 925 contains over 40.000 celestial objects including Messier objects, the Caldwell Catalog, NGC systems, nebulae and planets. A special identification feature tells you where to look, but you can also take a tour through the sky. For example: point the telescope somewhere, let it identify the Messier objects and the Celestron CGEM 925 will show automatically the five nearest objects; that’s GoTo at its best.
Alignment
The Celestron CGEM 925 telescope features a revolutionary alignment method: All-Star Polar Alignment. Using the software, you align the telescope by selecting a bright star; alignment is possible even without seeing the North Star.
