The Celestron 114LCM telescope is an ideal telescope for those who have little stargazing experience and want to explore it further. This Celestron telescope has a very strong housing which protects the internal components well. The internal optics are of a very good quality and provide a clear and sharp image. The Celestron 114LCM telescope comes with a solid and stable aluminium alt-azimuth tripod that is fitted with a tracking motor and a GoTo system.

Features
The telescope has a lens with a 114mm diameter of ; the lens is coated so it is very clear and strong and almost no light is lost. The focal length of the telescope is 1000 mm. The included eyepieces are 9 and 25 mm. In combination with the focal length this gives magnifications of 40 and 111 times. These eyepieces are for the 1.25 inch eyepiece fitting.

Tripod and mount
The Celestron 114LCM telescope comes with a very sturdy alt-azimuth tripod. This tripod has sturdy steel legs and is made specifically for the Celestron LCM series. The stand is equipped with a full GoTo function with tracking motor. This convenient system makes tracking celestial bodies straightforward. The mount also has a built-in StarPointer so you can quickly find objects.

GoTo
The telescope and mount have a full GoTo functionality. With this very useful system, the telescope will automatically find celestial objects for you. In the system 4000 celestial objects are pre-programmed which makes watching with this telescope easier and fun. The GoTo feautures Celestron SkyAlign alignment technology; this will align the telescope incredibly quickly.
