Bresser Junior reflector telescope 76/700 AZ
The Bresser Junior reflector telescope was specially designed to playfully introduce children to astronomy. This telescope uses mirrors and is therefore sometimes called a Newton or reflector telescope. Equipped with a mirror with a diameter of 76mm, this telescope is capable of revealing planets and stars (relatively) near to us. Delivered in a case, the child can easily store the telescope. In addition, the Bresser Junior telescope comes with a CD-ROM enabling you to start searching objects with ease.
What can you see?
You can use this Bresser Junior reflector telescope to view hundreds of craters on the moon, mountains and valleys "maria" of the moon. Saturn can be clearly established, as well as the ring around Jupiter and the four stars dancing around Jupiter. In addition, you will be aided by a CD (included) which demonstrates all the objects that can be viewed at that moment in time.
Difference between Bresser Lyra, Bresser Junior Jupiter and Bresser Junior reflector telescopes
The Bresser Lyra and Bresser Junior Jupiter have the same diameter but a different focal length. Because the focal length of the Bresser Junior Jupiter is smaller you have a wider field of view (up to 30%) than the Bresser Lyra. The Lyra has a heavier tripod making it more stable and also has an equatorial mount making items easier to follow. The Bresser Junior Reflector Telescope, by contrast, has a larger objective than the Bresser Jupiter and Bresser Lyra do, giving it more light gain which means it can 'see farther'.

Received it a month ago and the cold spell provided a few exellent nights viewing.
It is easy to assemble but things like the tripod, uses all screws so initial setup is a bit slow and fiddly as are adjustments.
Biggest problem is sighting in, as everything is very manual and a bit fiddly as the flex needs a bit of getting use to! It takes a lot of 'inching' to get your subject into view, but worth it. fast objects like the ISS are a No-No though.
Fleeting views are the order of the day!
Image is very good though especially at this price bracket & it very simplicity does make a good learning scope teaching accuracy and patience.
Planets, Galaxies, ISS(..ish!)
