Bresser Junior Jupiter 70/700 telescope
The Bresser Junior Jupiter 70/700 telescope is ideal for the novice (young) astronomer. It is a compact beginner's telescope with a 70mm lens - ideal for holidays and free time. Similar to the Bresser Sirus telescope, it is able to capture light very well (which is, of course, very important for telescopes). This telescope is equipped with a so-called "equatorial mount", this is the piece between the tripod and the tube (the actual telescope). Because of this mount it is a lot easier to track objects with the Bresser Junior Jupiter telescope.

What can you see?
You can use this Bresser Junior Jupiter to view hundreds of craters on the moon, mountains as well as valleys "maria" of the moon. Saturn can be clearly established as well as the ring around Jupiter and the four stars dancing around Jupiter. In addition you will be aided by the included CD that demonstrates all the objects which can be viewed at that particular time.

Difference between the Bresser Lyra and the Bresser Junior Jupiter telescope
Both telescopes have the same diameter but a different focal length lens. Because the focal length of the Bresser Junior Jupiter is smaller, you have a wider field of view (up to 30%) than the Bresser Lyra. This is especially noticeable with some nebulae like the Orion Nebula M42 and the Andromeda nebula M31.

On the tripod and mount
The Bresser Junior Jupiter has a stable tripod greatly reducing wiggle (thus moving of the telescope and losing your observation). The ambitious beginner will appreciate the qualities and the beautiful dark blue telescope tube can be aligned easily to find and explore numerous objects!
